Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Swift Coffee wants everyone to be able to browse, shop and enjoy our coffee. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as the guide for our ongoing accessibility work on swiftcoffee.com.

What we have done

  • Checked color contrast for text, buttons and badges, and made focus outlines clearly visible.
  • Made the site usable with a keyboard alone, including menus, the cart drawer, product options, quantity controls and the size and format selectors on product pages.
  • Added clear labels for buttons and form fields, a skip-to-content link, and logical heading structure.
  • Wrote descriptive alternative text for product and lifestyle photos, and marked purely decorative images so screen readers skip them.
  • Added a pause control to background video and respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Test regularly with automated tools (axe), keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA), and recheck after site changes.

Display settings toolbar

You can change how our site looks with the round Accessibility options button at the bottom left of every page. It opens a panel with these settings:

  • Text size: three larger steps above the default size.
  • Contrast: high contrast, or a dark (inverted) mode.
  • Highlight links: underlines and highlights every link.
  • Text spacing: adds more space between letters, words and lines.
  • Readable font: switches to a plainer, easier-to-read font.
  • Pause animations: stops animations and pauses video. It is on by default if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Hide images.
  • Big cursor: a larger pointer over links and buttons.
  • Reading guide: a horizontal bar that follows your pointer to help you keep your place.
  • Saturation: low saturation, grayscale or high saturation.

Reset all settings returns everything to normal. Your choices are saved in your browser on this device only. They are not sent to us. The toolbar is an optional extra. Our accessibility work above does not depend on it, and you can use the site fully without it, including with your own browser, device and assistive technology settings.

Known limitations

Some features are provided by partners, such as checkout and payment tools, subscription management, reviews and embedded content. We choose partners with accessibility in mind and report issues we find, but these parts may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
